Aria Jayne

Aria Jayne is a Certified Strategies Coach who has lived through every stage of business.

After graduating from Washington State University with a degree in Communication, she set off into the corporate world and landed at Boeing.

Finally, in 2017, the corporate world had her feeling unsatisfied and unfulfilled, and she decided to take a leap of faith into the beauty industry.

With a mentor by her side, Aria went through school and focused on her skills in sugaring hair removal. She got a job and trained further under an international body sugaring educator. That position was her first introduction to Strategies, and she learned all things “Team-Bbased”.

In 2018, Aria decided to take all she had learned and start her own sugaring company closer to home. Working as a solopreneur for two years and eventually building her team to a team of 7, Aria began working with Strategies to help her show up as the best leader possible for her team. While working with Strategies, Aria and her team won multiple Team-Based Pay Awards, including Business of the Year in 2023.

2023 also brought the opportunity to sell her business, allowing Aria more time to spend with her family.

As a Certified Strategies Coach, Aria is excited to help owners achieve their wildest goals. While not coaching, you can find Aria traveling the world with her husband and daughter.

Jenn Cody

Jenn Cody fell in love with the beauty industry from a young age due to its transformative and uplifting energy. In 2017, after years of owning her own salon, she transitioned to the world of coaching. Since then, Jenn has connected with thousands and helped them to see the blind spots that were holding them back, resulting in remarkable improvements in their lives and businesses.

Strategies played a key role in Jenn’s growth as a business owner and leader. Her experience was so impactful that Jenn has proudly added “Certified Strategies Coach” to her resume. Combining her hands-on industry experience, coaching skills, and Strategies methodology, Jenn is excited to guide salon owners and beauty entrepreneurs toward success and realize their full potential!

Jenn is driven by a  passion for making a positive impact in the world. When she is not guiding business owners to reach for their dreams, she enjoys time with her family in NYC and working with a nonprofit she founded, The Jenna’s Journey Foundation.

Wafaya Abdallah

Wafaya Abdallah is the owner of Oasis Curl Salon in Rockville, MD. She is also a multi Team-Based Pay Awards winner. “Helping people shine is my favorite thing,” says Wafaya. “Whether it’s a Curly girl seeing her natural beauty, one of our team excelling at a Curly skill or hairdressers worldwide understanding the power of Curls. Teaching and learning all the while.”

Jessica Tergesen

Jessica has been in the beauty industry for 14 years and a part of an award-winning Team-Based company for 8 of those years.

Jessica acts as a mentor, educator, and director of internal education at a growing, innovative, and next-level business, Glance Spa and Salon, in Bismarck, North Dakota.

She is focused on growing others and helping them discover their strengths and abilities. She strives to bring an innovative and fun twist to day-to-day business.

Jessica’s biggest passion lies with the team. Her goal is always to empower owners so that, in return, they can empower their teams and help teams play to their strengths so that together, they can achieve greatness.

“I have been in love with what Strategies teaches since my first Team-Based conference in 2016,” says Jessica. “Now, as a Certified Strategies Coach, I could not be more excited to be able to continue to pass that love onto others.

When I’m not pouring my heart into my work, you will find me enjoying time with my family and chasing around to my kid’s activities. I also love to travel and am close to marking that 50th state off the list…. 12 more to go!”

Alley Jenkins

Alley Jenkins is the Marketing Manager at Strategies and a seasoned digital marketer with over a decade of experience driving growth for businesses. With a background in the entertainment industry and a passion for dance, Alley brings a unique perspective to her work. Specializing in content, email, social media, and search engine marketing, she has a proven track record of attracting new customers and increasing marketing ROI. When not optimizing campaigns, Alley enjoys culinary adventures, crafting spicy margaritas, and exploring the outdoors with her family.

Tony Sansone

Tony Sansone is a Lead Trainer on the Education team at Meevo.

He works hands-on with beauty & wellness owners and managers to ensure their ongoing success with Meevo.

Tony came to Meevo with years of digital marketing agency experience helping businesses grow their online presence, and applies that knowledge when consulting on Meevo, particularly when spotlighting the Meevo Marketing suite.

When not working, you can find Tony on the softball field, golf course, or having a night out with friends.

Tim Howard

Tim Howard has over 25 years of experience in the salon industry and is a former salon owner of two award-winning salons.

After selling the salons in 2016, he joined Vish as Chief Innovation Officer and head of Customer Success.

Tim understands the needs of the industry and seeks to help improve the hair color business for salon owners, staff, and customers.

Tim is also a former guest artist for Aveda, having created a curriculum, and participated in hair shows, photoshoots, and New York Fashion Week.

He has also taught workshops, consulted with salons, and helped in product development. His decades of experience and passion in the industry allow him to help in innovating Vish technology to suit the needs of industry professionals.

David Tashjian

David Tashjian is a venture capitalist and investor with roots in the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business. His career started on Wall Street in 1982, where he built and ran high-yield trading businesses at both Salomon Brothers and Wasserstein Perella.

In 1992, David was approached by Lazard  Freres & Co. to become a General Partner, where he headed a group focused on global investments. In 1999, David was appointed to CEO of Lazard’s Global Debt and Equity Capital Markets Division and was also placed on the firm’s Global Executive Committee.

In 2007, David retired from Lazard to pursue venture capital opportunities. As co-founder and president of Linq3, he steered the company to secure long-term contracts with state lotteries and multinational corporations, eventually acquiring $85 million in funding and 70 full-time employees.

In 2015, David co-founded DirectTips and its flagship app, Tippy, to bring that same innovation to the Beauty industry.

Barry Quinn

Barry Quinn started working in the Beauty Industry 15 years ago Ireland. The past six years he has lived and worked in Philadelphia, PA.

Barry’s passion is helping salon owners use technology to take the pain away from growing a world-class company.

Barry spent the early part of his career focusing on loyalty programs in salons, and from there spent time creating marketing tools to help salons increase client frequency while spending more and generating referrals.

April McDaniel

As a CPA with a wide variety of experience including financial analysis, taxation, human resources, employee benefits, and leases, April McDaniel can help clients in multiple ways.

April understands the financial and management challenges our industry faces. Utilizing this specialized knowledge, she’s able to serve as a national consultant & educator to the industry. Her ability to take difficult topics and make them easy to understand has made her a very popular speaker.

April’s firm, Kopsa Otte, has been referred to as “the only CPA Firm that specializes in the Beauty Industry.”
